Introduction

The building housing the Museum of Taipa and Coloane History preserves and promotes the history and culture of Taipa and Coloane. In the Artistic Craftsmanship of Our Ancestors - Exhibition of Archaeological Relics of Taipa and Coloane the findings of five archaeological excavations undertaken in the Hac Sa area of Coloane Island between 1973 and 2006 dating back thousands of years are on display. A collection of findings and relics uncovered from different archaeological excavations over the past 30 years are displayed on the ground floor.
