This is the first exhibition to use cutting-edge simulation technologies for the digital restoration of the Ruins of St. Paul’s (the facade of the Former Mater Dei Church) including 3D modelling, autostereoscopy, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). Participants can travel beyond space and time to revisit the history of the church centuries ago. A WeChat game based on the exhibition “Request from the Priest” has also been rolled out, in which players can create personalised avatars and explore the Ruins of St. Paul’s online from a first-person viewpoint. After completing assigned missions, players can have a chance to win NFTs and limited edition prizes.
